Annual Meeting is 7pm on May 18 (Wednesday) at Creekside Elementary

Please plan to attend the Downing Creek annual meeting. This is a great chance to find out what is happening in our neighborhood, meet the candidates for the Board, cast your votes, ask questions, and make your concerns heard. This year we are meeting at Creekside Elementary School. Use the main entrance off Ephesus Church Road and use the covered walkway to enter the building.

The Downing Creek Community Association is governed by an elected volunteer board. At our annual meeting we will hold elections for three of the five seats on the DCCA Board. Rebecca Board and Brian Burke are currently serving on the Board, and are willing to continue. We also have a new candidate, Micheal Douglas.

Michael Douglas is currently a Realtor with Prudential York Simpson Underwood but has spent the last twenty five years of his professional career with Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park. He is a North Carolina native from Greensboro and has lived almost 30 years in the Chapel Hill, Southwest Durham area of the Triangle. He has been married to Donna over twenty one years. Donna is from New Orleans and has lived in Chapel Hill over twenty three years and is currently employed at Cisco Systems in Research Triangle Park. Michael and Donna built their Downing Creek home in one of the few remaining lots on Bearkling Place in September 1997 and sincerely love this pet friendly neighborhood with it’s extremely convenient location to shopping, schools, parks, and recreation.
